The employees of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative – investigative measures, on the area of responsibility of Batumi Division, detained 2 persons (M.E. Born in 1994 and O.T. Born in 1976) for the fact of illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

BORDER POLICE DETAINED 3 PERSONS FOR THE FACT OF ILLEGAL GROUP CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

The employees of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative – investigative measures, on the area of responsibility of Border Sector “Kirnati” of Batumi Division, detained 3 persons of foreign countries (E.Q. Born in 1995; H.N. Born in 1969 and H.B. Born in 1982) for the fact of illegal group crossing of the State Border.

THE EMPLOYEES OF THE COST GUARD DEPARTMENT COMPLETED MARITIME SITUATIONAL AWARENESS ADMINISTRATION AND TECHNICAL TRAINING COURSE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

The Employees of the Border Police of Georgia completed Maritime Situational Awareness Administration and Technical Training Course in Cambridge, USA. The training was organized by the US Department of Transportation with financial support of US Defence Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) .

THE SRVICEMEN OF COAST GUARD DEPARTMENT OF THE BORDER POLICE COMPLETED “ MARITIME TRAINING ON IMPROVING MINE COUNTERMEASURE CAPABILITIES”

The Servicemen of the Coast Guard Department of the Border Police completed Maritime Training on Improving Mine Countermeasure Capabilities (EP MCM DIVE 2025) in Constantsa, Romania. The training was organized by the Naval Forces of Romania and U.S. Naval Forces in Europe and Africa (USNAVEUR/AFR).

THE GRADUATES OF THE ACADEMY OF THE MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS WERE AWARDED THE CERTIFICATES

The Graduation Ceremony of awarding the certificates to the graduates of the Basic Training Group of the Border Guards was held at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.

The Border Police Arrested One Person for the Illegal Purchase, Possession, and Smuggling of a Particularly Large Quantity of Psychotropic Substances

Based on operational information, employees of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in cooperation with the Patrol Police Department's Main Division for Border Management and Coordination, as well as the Customs Department of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance, conducted joint operational and investigative activities resulting in the arrest of a foreign citizen—born in 1978, identified as K.K.—for the illegal purchase and possession, and illegal import into Georgia, of a particularly large quantity of psychotropic substances.

The employees of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative – investigative measures, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sector “Vale” of Akhaltikhe Division, detained 5 persons of the foreign countries.

The Employees of MIA Border Police, Border Management and Coordination Main Division of Patrol Department and also the Customs Department of Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance, according the joint operative and investigative actions detained two citizens of foreign countries (A.I. Born in 1977 and M.T. Born in 1998) for the smuggling of the migrant on the State Border of Georgia and for the fact of illegal crossing of the State Border.

The employees of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative – investigative measures, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sector “Sarphi” of Batumi Division, detained 4 persons of the foreign countries (O. E. Born in 1996; H.E. Born in 1990; A.E. Born in 2001 and C.N. Born in 2002) for the fact of illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia and for the fact of illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
