The Exercise was conducted for 34 Employees of the Rapid Response Main Division and the Law Enforcement and Maritime Security Service of the MIA Border Police.
BORDER POLICE DETAINED 3 PERSONS FOR THE FACT OF ILLEGAL CROSSING OF THE BORDER
The Employees of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative – investigative measures, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sector “Sarphi” of Batumi Division, detained 3 citizens of foreign countries (J.M. Born in 1989; M.B. Born in 1950 and K.I. Born in 1999) for the fact of illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
THE STUDENTS OF BATUMI STATE MARITIME ACADEMY VISITED POTI BASE OF THE COAST GUARD DEPARTMENT OF BORDER POLICE
The Students of Navigation Faculty and Professors of Batumi State Maritime Academy visited Poti Base of the Coast Guard Department of MIA Border Police.
BORDER POLICE DETAINED 2 PERSONS FOR THE ATTEMPT OF ILLEGAL GROUP CROSSING OF THE BORDER
The Employees of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative – investigative measures, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sector “Kirnati” of Batumi Division, detained 2 citizens of foreign countries (A.A. Born in 1992 and M. A. Born in 1994) for the fact of the attempt of illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
COAST GUARD OF BORDER POLICE REVEALED FACT OF THE VIOLATION OF THE RULES OF NAVIGATION
The Employees of the Coast Guard Department of MIA Border Police detained Cargo Vessel “MALBURG” under the Cameroon Flag for the violation of the rules of Navigation in the Georgian Territorial Waters.
BORDER POLICE DETAINED 1 PERSON FOR THE FACT OF ILLEGAL CROSSING OF THE BORDER
The Employees of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative – investigative measures, with the service dogs, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sector “Sarphi” of Batumi Division, detained the citizen of foreign country (E.M. Born in 1996) for the fact of illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
BORDER POLICE DETAINED 3 CITIZENS OF FOREIGN COUNTRIES FOR THE FACT OF ILLEGAL CROSSING OF THE BORDER
The Employees of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative – investigative measures, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sector “Kartsakhi” of Akhaktsikhe Division, detained 3 citizens of foreign countries (R.I Born in 1982; M.T. Born in 1977 and (E.T. under-age; Born in 2006) for the fact of the illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
BORDER POLICE DETAINED 2 CITIZENS OF FOREIGN COUNTRIES FOR THE ATTEMPT OF ILLEGAL GROUP CROSSING OF THE BORDER
The Employees of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative – investigative measures and investigative activities, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sector “Charali” of Akhaltsikhe Division, detained 2 Citizens of foreign countries (O.U. Born in 1998 and T.U. Born in 2005) for the attempt of illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
MIA BORDER POLICE DETAINED 2 PERSONS FOR ATTEMPTS OF SMUGGLING OF MIGRANT AND ILLEGAL GROUP CROSSING OF STATE BORDER
The Employees of MIA Border Police, Patrol Police Department and Custom Department of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance, as a result of the joint operative – investigative measures and investigative activities, detained 2 foreign Citizens for the attempts of smuggling of the migrant and illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
A NOVEL EUROPEAN-TYPE “H145” HELICOPTER HAS BEEN HANDED OVER TO THE MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS FOR SEARCH AND RESCUE OPERATIONS
A novel European-type “H145” helicopter has been handed over to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the purpose of conducting Search and Rescue Operations. This is the second of the “H145” helicopters that the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has procured from “Airbus Helicopters”.
The United Kingdom (UK) Royal Navy 42 Commando Marines' instructors provided a special training course to officers of the MIA Border Police of Georgia.
14 employees of the Law Enforcement and Sea Security Tactical Divisions of the Coast Guard Department and 16 employees of the Rapid Response Main Division of the MIA Border Police have been trained in the Poti base of the Coast Guard Department of the MIA Border Police of Georgia.

The Head of MIA Border Police of Georgia Major General Nikoloz Sharadze with the delegation payied working visit to the Republic of Armenia.
