THE EMPLOYEES OF THE COST GUARD DEPARTMENT COMPLETED MARITIME SITUATIONAL AWARENESS ADMINISTRATION AND TECHNICAL TRAINING COURSE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

The Employees of the Border Police of Georgia completed Maritime Situational Awareness Administration and Technical Training Course in Cambridge, USA. The training was organized by the US Department of Transportation with financial support of US Defence Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA).

The goal of the training was to improve the sustainability of the maritime monitoring system by training qualified operators and administrators of the “SeaVision” platform. The training, also, aimed to train technicians in Automatic Identification Systems (AIS) and the Radar Systems.

Upon completion of the course, participants were awarded the relevant certificates.
