The Graduation Ceremony of awarding the certificates to the graduates of the Basic Training Group of the Border Guards was held at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
The event was officially opened by the Rector of the Academy, Lela Chikovani, who congratulated the graduates on the beginning of their professional careers and emphasized the special responsibility associated with ensuring internal security and protecting the state border.
The Basic Border Guard Training Program aims to transform theoretical knowledge into practical skills, thereby contributing to the professional development of new personnel and enhancing their effective service in protecting the state border.
The certificate awarding ceremony for the 20 graduates was attended by the First Deputy Head of the Border Police, Giorgi Gureshidze, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Academy, instructors from both subdivisions, and family members of the graduates.
As part of the event, the graduates paid tribute to the memory of employees who lost their lives in the line of duty.
It is noteworthy that the Basic Training Program of Border Guards was implemented in close cooperation between the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Border Police Training Center. At all stages of the training process, coordinated activities and a harmonized agenda ensured a single standard of training and maintained high professional quality. This kind of cooperation serves as a successful example of interdepartmental coordination, promoting the development of the security system and professional resources.
