Crime Chronicle

From June 2022 till June 2023, Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs charged 277 citizens of the various countries for illegal crossing and attempt of illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia, among them: 129 from the Republic of Turkey, 41 from the Republic of Georgia, 12 – People’s Republic of Bangladesh, 16 – Republic of Azerbaijan, 8 - Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, 10 – Kingdom of Morocco, 7 – Arab Republic of Egypt, 7 - Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 6 – Republic of Uzbekistan, 5 - Republic of Libya, 5 – Islamic Republic of Iran, 4 – Republic of Armenia, 3 – Republic of China, 3 – Republic of India, 3 – Syrian Arab Republic, 3 – Republic of Tunisia, 2 – Russian Federation, 2 – Palestine, 1- People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, 1 – Saudi Arabia, 1 – Republic of Cuba, 1 – Republic of Belarus, 1 – Republic of Kazakhstan, 1 – Republic of Moldova, 1 Republic of Kingdom of Jordan, 1 – Republic of Tajikistan, 1 – Federal Republic of Nigeria and 1 citizen from the Republic of Albania.
