BORDER POLICE DETANED 4 PERSONS OF FOREIGN COUNTRIES FOR THE FACT OF ILLEGAL CROSSING OF THE BORDER

The employees of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative – investigative measures, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sector “Sarphi” of Batumi Division, detained 4 persons of the foreign countries (O. E. Born in 1996; H.E. Born in 1990; A.E. Born in 2001 and C.N. Born in 2002) for the fact of illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia and for the fact of illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

The crime envisages the imprisonment up to 5 years.

The investigation revealed, that accused persons (O.E. and H.E) avoiding the check point, from the Republic of Türkiye to the direction to Georgia, hiding in the various trucks, implemented illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia. Also, the accused persons (A.E. and C.N) from the Republic of Türkiye to the direction to Georgia implemented illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia – Türkiye.

The investigation is ongoing under the article 344, Part I, and the article 344, Part II, Subparagraph “A”.

BORDER POLICE REVEALED THE FACT OF THE VIOLATION OF THE RULES OF THE NAVIGATION – THE VESSEL UNDER THE FLAG OF FOREIGN COUNTRY WAS CRARGED

The Employees of the Coast Guard Department of MIA Border Police, detained the cargo “SEAEXPRESS” under the flag of Malta, in the Georgian Territorial Waters, for the violation of the rules of the Navigation.
