The Exercise was conducted for 24 Employees from the Law enforcement and Maritime Security Cervices of the Coast Guard Department and Rapid Response Main Division of MIA Border Police.
BORDER POLICE DETAINED 2 FOREIGN COUNTRIE CITIZENS FOR UNLAFWUL PURCHASING, STORING AND CARRYING OF FIREAMS AND AMMUNITION
The Employees of MIA Border Police carried out operative – investigative operation in Batumi and detained 2 foreign country citizens (H.M. Born in 2005) and (H.S. Born in 2000) for unlawful purchasing, storing and carrying of firearms and ammunition.
HEAD OF MIA BORDER POLICE HOSTED U.S. AMBASSADOR TO GEORGIA
US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Georgia, H.E. Robin Dunnigan, with the Delegation, visited Coast Guard Department of MIA Border Police of Georgia.

The Employees of MIA Border Police carried out operative – investigative measures in Batumi and detained 2 citizens of foreign countries (A.A Born in 1983 and A.E Born in 2002) for illegal, group crossing of Georgian State Border.
US INSTRUCTORS CONDUCTED EXERCISE FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF MIA BORDER POLICE
The Exercise was conducted for the servicemen of the Rapid Response Main Division at the Georgian Border Police “Lilo” Base by the Officers of US Special Operation Forces.
The Head of Border Police and Director of the Patrol Police Department participated in the meeting between Management Board of Frontex and the EU pre-accession partners
The Head of Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia - Nikoloz Sharadze and the Director of the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia- Vazha Siradze participated in the high-level meeting between the heads of the border management authorities of the EU pre-accession partners and European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex) Management Board that was held in Warsaw.

Joint Exercises were held between the Border Guards of the Border Units of Georgia and Republic of Turkey.

The Employees of MIA Border Police carried out operative-investigative measures on the protected area of the Border Sector "Sarphi" of Batumi Division of the Land Border Protection Department and Border Sector "Kartsakhi" of Akhaltiskhe Division and detained 3 persons of the foreign countries (Sh.B Born in 1981; H.O. Born in 1994; Ch.B. Born in 1998 and A.B. Born in 1988) for the illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
THE VISITS OF THE PATROL BOATS IN THE FRAMEWORK OF TURKEY - GEORGIAN BILATERAl COOPERATION
In the framework of Turkey- Georgian bilateral cooperation the Patrol Boat "Ochamchire" of the Coast Guard Department of MIA Border Police visited Republic of Turkey, Trabzon.

The Defence Attachés of the various countries accredited in Georgia visited the Coast Guard Department of MIA Border Police and Joint Maritime Operations Centre (JMOC). The leadership of the Coast Guard Department hosted the guests.
