BORDER POLICE DETAINED 2 PERSONS FOR THE ATTEMPT OF SMUGGLING OF MIGRANT AND FOR THE ATTEMPT OF IILEGAL CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

The employees of MIA Border Police and the Customs Department of Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance, according the joint operative and investigative actions detained two citizens of foreign countries (H.T. Born in 1987 and P.A. Born in 1980) for the attempt of illegally transfer of the migrant and the for the fact of the attempt of illegal crossing of the State Border.

The crime envisages the imprisonment up to 5 years.

The investigation revealed, that the accused person (H.T) through a hidden compartment arranged in the trailer of his cargo vehicle, avoiding the check point, tried illegally transfer of the migrant (P.A) from Georgia to the Republic of Turkey.

The investigation is ongoing under the article 19 – 344, Part I, and the article 19 – 344 1 Part I.

BORDER POLICE DETAINED 5 PERSONS FOR THE ATTEMPT OF ILLEGAL GROUP CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

The employees of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative – investigative measures, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sectors “Gorgadzeti” and “Sarphi” of Batumi Division detained 5 citizens of foreign countries (A.P. Born in 1991; P.T. Born in 1996; S.T. Born in 1991; K.H. Born in 2002 and A.A. Born in 1994) for the fact of the attempt of illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
