THE EMPLOYEES OF BORDER POLICE CONDUCTED AN INFORMATIVE – EDUCATIONAL MEETING IN BATUMI SCHOOL “PROGRESS”

The employees of the Land Protection and Coast Guard Departments of MIA Border Police, participated in an event held in the city of Batumi on the initiative of the American International School “Progress”, regarding the Independence Day of Georgia.

As part of the event the employees of the Border Police met with pupils from the school’s elementary grades (I-VI) and conducted an informative and educational lesson about the Border Police.

The children received a lot of interesting information, useful advice, and recommendations both about the protection of Georgia’s state border and the role of Coast Guard.

The meeting continued in a question-and-answer format, during which the employees of the Border Police discussed all the relevant issues and provided the students with thorough and comprehensive answers.

BORDER POLICE DETAINED 4 PPERSONS FOR SMUGGLING OF THE MIGRANTS AND ILEEGAL CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

The employees of MIA Border Police, Patrol Police Department and Customs Department of Revenue Service, according the joint operative and investigative actions, in the recent time, detained 4 persons of the foreign countries (E.N. Born in 1987; M.E. Born in 1966; M.Sh. Born in 1989 and K.B. Born in 1997) for illegally transfer of the migrants and for the fact of illegal crossing of the State Border.
