THE TRAINING WAS CONDUCTED FOR THE SERVICEMEN OF COAST GUARD DEPARTMENT OF MIA BORDER POLICE

NATO Allied Maritime Command (MARCOM) Mobile Training Team conducted training for 21 servicemen of the Coast Guard Department of MIA Border Police on the topic: “NATO’s Maritime Special Operations Forces’ and Medical Advisers Functions (SOFAD/MEDAD) in the NATO maritime domain”. The training was organized by Georgian Coast Guard Department and executed by Allied Maritime Command (MARCOM) Mobile Training Team comprised of Captain Alicea Mingo and Commander Florent Fontaine.

Border Policemen of MIA Border Police carried out operative – investigative measures, on the protected area of the Border Sector “Sarphi” of Batumi Division of Georgian Border Police and detained 3 citizens of the Kingdom of Morocco (I.S. Born in 1987; A.M. Born in 1997 and Kh.A. Born in 1982) for the fact of illegal group crossing of Georgian State Border.

MIA BORDER POLICE DETAINED 2 PERSONS OF FOREIGN COUNTRIES FOR ATTEMPT OF ILLEGAL CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

Border Policemen of MIA Border Police carried out operative – investigative measures, on the protected area of the Border Sector “Kartsakhi” of Akhaltsikhe Division of Georgian Border Police and detained 2 persons of the Islamic Republic of Iran (B.R. Born in 1978 and A.R Born in 1978).

MIA BORDER POLICE DETAINED 4 PERSONS FOR THE SMUGGLING OF THE MIGRANT AND ILLEGAL GROUP CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

The Employees of MIA Border Police, Patrol Police Department and Custom Department of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance, carried out joint operative- investigative activities and detained 4 persons for the migrant’s smuggling (two or more persons’ smuggling) and for illegal group crossing of the State Border.

Medical Training was conducted for the employees of the Coast Guard Department and Land Border Protection Department of MIA Border Police in the University of Batumi, Coast Guard Batumi base and adjacent maritime space.

Parliament of Georgia has ratified an international, interagency agreement – “Technical Agreement between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and Ministry of the National Defense of the Hellenic Republic, regarding the Participation of Coast Guard Personnel of Ministry of Internal Affairs State Subordinate Entity - Border Police of Georgia on Board Hellenic Navy Ships during Maritime Operation “SEA GUARDIAN”.

Born in 1966 and A.A. Born in 1987) for the fact of the illegal group crossing of the State Border.

Border Policemen of MIA Border Police carried out operative – investigative measures, on the protected area of Border Sector “Niala” of Akhaltsikhe Division of Georgian Border Police and detained for the fact of attempt of illegal group crossing of Georgian State Border 2 citizens of the Republic of Ukbekistan (B.B. born in 1986 and D.M. Born in 1992), also for the attempt of 2 migrants smuggling on the State Border, 2 citizens of Georgia (T.T. Born in 1985 and A.B. Born in 1976). The crime envisages imprisonment up to 5 years.
