Born in 1991 and P.A. Born in 1997) for the fact of illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

The Employees of MIA Border Police, on the area of responsibility, of the Border Sector “Charali” of Akhaltsikhe Division, as a result of operative – investigative measures, detained 2 persons: citizen of foreign country (B.CH. Born in 2004) and citizen of Georgia (V.D. Born in 1981) for the fact of illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

Born in 1986; M.G. Born in 1986 and A.G. Born in 1984) for the fact of illegal crossing and for the attempt of illegal crossing of the State Border.

THE HEAD OF MIA BORDER POLICE PAID TRIBUTE TO THE SAILORS KILLED IN THE AUGUST WAR OF 2008

The Head of MIA Border Police, Davit Tamazashvili, the Director of the Coast Guard Department, Iuri Pirtskhalaishvili and the representatives of the same Department paid tribute to the memory of the Sailors who died during the August War of 2008, at the Poti Base of the Coast Guard and laied a wreath in the Black Sea.

THE MINISTER OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS OF GEORGIA, GEKA GELADZE VISITED THE STRUCTURAL UNITS OF THE BORDER POLICE

The Minister visited the Rapid Response Main Division and surveyed the infrastructure, vehicle fleet and special equipment of the Main Division. Geka Geladze, with the Head of the Border Police, Davit Tamazashvili, also attended the tactical training demo exercise and visited Canine Division at the Base.

The employees of MIA Border Police, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sector “Sabatlo” of Dedoplistskharo Division, as a result of operative – investigative measures, detained 2 persons of the foreign countries (C.A. Born in 1986 and V.J. Born in 1997) for the fact of illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

THE BORDER POLICE HAVE ARRESTED THREE PERSONS FOR PREPARING THE ILLEGAL TRANSPORTATION OF A MIGRANT ACROSS THE STATE BORDER OF GEORGIA AS A PART OF AN ORGANIZED GROUP

Employees of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in cooperation with officers from the Central Criminal Police Department, arrested the persons as a result of joint operative activities and investigative actions. One of the detainees is a Georgian citizen J.E (Born in 1979) and the other two are foreign nationals: N.M (Born in 1989) and V.I (Born in 1999). They were detained for preparing the illegal transportation of a migrant across Georgia’s state border as part of an organized group.

Minister of Internal Affairs, Geka Geladze, along with the Minister of IDPs from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Protection, Mikheil Sarjveladze, visited the site of the tragedy that took place near Gudauri in 2022.
