REPRSENTATIVE OF THE COAST GUARD DEPARTMENT OF THE BORDER POLICE PARTICIPATED IN THE “TRAINING TO COMBAT ILLEGAL MIGRATION AT SEA”

Representative of the Law Enforcement and Maritime Security Service of the Operations Management Main Division of the Coast Guard Department of the Georgian Border Police, Irakli Toshkhua, participated in the “Training of Combating Illegal Migration at Sea” in the Republic of Türkiye.

The training, organized by the Coast Guard Command of the Republic of Türkiye aimed to improve the skills of combating illegal migration at sea and law enforcement activities. During the course, important issues such as: types and routes of illegal migration, as well as means of illegal migration at sea and etc. were discussed.

After completing the course, the employee of the Coast Guard Department of the Georgian Border Police was awarded a corresponding certificate.

BORDER POLICE DETAINED 2 PERSONS FOR THE FACT OF ILLEGAL CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

The employees of MIA Border Police, on the area of the responsibility of the Border Sectors: “Vale” and “Kartsakhi” of Akaltsikhe Division detained 2 persons (J.D. Born in 1974 and I.E. Born in 1994) for the fact of illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
