The employees of the MIA Border Police, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sectors “Sarphi” and “Kirnati” of Batumi Division, as a result of operative – investigative measures detained 4 persons of the foreign countries (O.E. Born in 1983; R.D. Born in 1993; C.A. Born in 1989 and D.T. Born in 1998) for the fact of illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia and attempt to cross of the State Border.

The crime envisages the imprisonment up to 5 years.

The investigation revealed, that accused persons (C.A. and D.T) avoiding the check point, from the Republic of Türkiye to the direction to Georgia, illegally, hiding in the truck, implemented illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia. The accused person (O. E.) avoiding the check point, from the Republic of Türkiye to the direction to Georgia implemented illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia. Also, the accused person (R.D.) avoiding the check point, tried to implement illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia and enter the Republic of Türkiye.

The investigation is ongoing under the article 344, Part I and article 19, 344, Part I, which implies illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia and attempt of illegal crossing of the State Border.
