BORDER POLICE DETAINED 3 PERSONS FOR THE FACT OF ILLEGAL CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

The employees of MIA Border Police, on the area of the responsibility of the Border Sectors: “Kirnati” and “Sarphi” of Batumi Division, as a result of operative – investigative measures, detained 3 persons of the foreign countries: (A.S. Born in 1989; H.B. Born in 1997 and A.U. Born in 1995) for the fact of illegal crossing of the State Border. 


The crime envisages the imprisonment up to 5 years.


The investigation revealed, that accused persons (A.S. and H.B.), avoiding the check point, from the Republic of Türkiye to the direction to Georgia implemented illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia. Also, the accused person (A.U) hiding in the truck, implemented illegal crossing of the State Border and entered Georgia.


The investigation is ongoing, under the article 344, Part I, which implies illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
