Minister of Internal Affairs, Geka Geladze held working meetings in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti regions. The Minister received detailed information from the leadership of the Police Departments on the fight against crime and police preventive measures in their operational areas and got acquainted with the crime statistics and crime-solving rate in the region.
Geka Geladze also visited the other structural units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti regions, inspecting work spaces, equipment and facilities of the Border Police Department, the Emergency Situations Management Service and the Forensic-criminalistics Department.
The Minister also met with the employees of the police units, spoke about the priority areas of the Ministry and thanked them for their work.
The working meetings held in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti regions were also attended by First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Roland Meskhi, and other deputies -Aleksandre Darakhvelidze and Giorgi Butkhuzi.
