The MARCOM Mobile Training Team (MTT) exercise was held at the Poti Base of the Coast Guard Department of the Border Police, organized by representatives of NATO Maritime Command (MARCOM). Officers from the Coast Guard Department of the Georgian Border Police participated in the exercise.
This exercise represents an important step in preparing for the evaluation of two Coast Guard patrol vessels, Dioskuria and Ochamchire, which are involved in the NATO Operational Capabilities Concept and Feedback Program (OCC E&F). It also plays a key role in finalizing the review and development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to be completed for the evaluation process.
