BORDER POLICE DETAINED 2 PERSONS FOR THE FACT OF ILLEGAL CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

The employees of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative – investigative measures, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sector “Charali” of Akhaltiskhe Division detained 2 persons (P. J. Born in 1974 and E.Ch. Born in 1983) for the fact of illegal crossing of the State Border.

The crime envisages imprisonment from 3 years till 5 years.

The investigation revealed that accused persons, avoiding the check point, from the Republic of Turkey implemented illegal crossing by the so called “Green Border” of the State Border of Georgia and entered the country.

The investigation is ongoing under the article 344, Part I of the Criminal Code of Georgia.

EMPLOYEES OF THE COAST GUARD DEPARTMENT OF THE BORDER POLICE COMPLETED MARITIME MONITORING SYSTEM ANALYST COURSE

Employees of the structural units of the Coast Guard Department of the Border Police completed maritime monitoring system “SeaVision” analyst course, which was organized by the Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC) of the United States Embassy.
