A representative of the Coast Guard Department participated in the naval exercise Sea Breeze 25

A representative of the Coast Guard Department of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia participated in the international naval exercise Sea Breeze 25-2, held in Portland, United Kingdom.


Sea Breeze 25-2 provides NATO Allies and partner countries with the opportunity to improve interoperability and warfighting capabilities in the Black Sea region. This includes staff planning, command and control, as well as task execution at the tactical level, by integrating various systems and capabilities in a complex environment.


The exercise focused on critical areas such as mine countermeasures, explosive ordnance disposal, shallow-water diving operations, inspection and clearance of port underwater infrastructure, and demining.


Exercise SEA BREEZE 2025 was conducted in Portland Harbor and adjacent maritime areas. Participants included representatives from Bulgaria, Denmark, the United States, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, France, Estonia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Japan, Latvia, Poland, Germany, and Italy.
