Head of the MIA Border Police, Nikoloz Sharadze met the Advisor in Internal Affairs of the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye Colonel Necmettin Tetik and the Security Advisor of the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye Colonel Hakan Becel.

Nikoloz Sharadze congratulated the Advisor in internal Affairs and the Security Advisor of the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye on their appointment to their new positions and wished them success in their professional activities.

During the introductory meeting the sides adressed the ongoing and future cooperation matters between the agencies. The support provided by the Coast Guard Command of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye to the Georgian Coast Department was emphasized during the meeting.

The Head of the Border Police of Georgia, Nikoloz Sharadze, conveyed gratitude to the guests for their support and assistance.

The meeting was also attended by the Director of the Coast Guard Departament of Georgia, Ramaz Papidze and the Third Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye Boran Koçboğan.

The sides expressed their preparedness for the further enhancement of the current successful cooperation between the agencies of the two countries.
