COAST GUARD OF THE MIA BORDER POLICE REVELEAD THE FACT OF THE VIOLATION OF THE RULES OF THE NAVIGATION

The employees of the Coast Guard Department of the MIA Border Police detained the cargo vessel “ELENA”, under the flag of Comoros Islands, for the violation of the rules of the Navigation in the Georgian Territorial Waters.

Against the Captain of the vessel, who is the Citizen of Syrian Arab Republic, the employees of Operative – Investigation Main Division started proceeding for the fact of the violation of the rules of the navigation in accordance to the Administrative Code of Georgia, article 1141, Part I1, Subparagraph “D”.

The Captain of the Vessel was charged by 10 000 Lari. After the payment of the fine, the vessel will be granted the right of free navigation.
