THE TRAINING OF PILOTS AND TECHNICIANS OF MIA BORDER POLICE TOOK PLACE IN THE STATE BORDER GUARD OF LATVIA

The pilots and technicians of MIA Border Police of Georgia were trained in the piloting and servicing of the “Augusta Bell 206B Jetranger III type helicopter” in the State Border Guard of Latvia, Republic of Latvia.

THE HEAD OF BORDER POLICE HELD AN INTRODUCTORY MEETING WITH THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS OF THE REPUBLIC OF TÜRKIYE

Head of the MIA Border Police, Nikoloz Sharadze met the Advisor in Internal Affairs of the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye Colonel Necmettin Tetik and the Security Advisor of the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye Colonel Hakan Becel. The meeting was also attended by the Director of the Coast Guard Departament of Georgia, Ramaz Papidze and the Third Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye Boran Koçboğan.

THE FIRST PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM OF THE NEWLY ESTABLISHED TRAINING CENTRE OF THE BORDER POLICE HAS CONCLUDED

The employees of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative – investigative measures, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sector “Charali” of Akhaltsikhe Division detained 2 persons of the foreign countries (E.G. Born in 2004 and M.M. Born in 2001) for the fact of the illegal, group crossing of the State Border.

BORDER POLICE DETAINED 4 PERSONS FOR THE ILLEGAL GROUP CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

The employees of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative- investigative measures, detained 4 persons of the foreign countries (C.K. Born in 1997; B.K.Born in 1997; H.CH. Born in 1997 and P.CH. Born in 2001) for the fact of the illegal, group crossing of the State Border.

The Law Enforcement Tactical Team of the Coast Guard Department of the Georgian Border Police participated in Operation “SEA GUARDIAN” (OSG) for the second time

The 12 personnel of the Coast Guard Department Law Enforcement Tactical Team of the Georgian Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs participated in the NATO Maritime Security Operation “SEA GUARDIAN” (OSG).

Born in 1986; M.KH. Born in 1988 and O.P. Born in 1989) for the fact of the illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

THE FIRST PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM STARTED AT THE NEWLY ESTABLISHED TRAINING CENTRE OF THE BORDER POLICE

The first professional development program has started at the newly established Training Centre of the Border Police of Georgia. The Program is designed for the personnel serving at the Land Border Protection Department, who will be assigned as the patrol tactical leads during the shifts.

All three new European ”H145” type helicopters are in Georgia

The third "H 145" type helicopter was added to the fleet of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. Border police pilots brought the new helicopter from Germany to Georgia.
