Nineteen employees of the Land Border Protection Department of the MoIA Border Police have completed a special professional retraining program, conducted at the Border Police Training Center. The training program is designed for the personnel serving at the Land Border Protection Department, who are assigned as the patrol tactical leads during the shifts.
The training covered topics such as: the procedure for determining the state border, standard operating procedures (SOP) for border sector activities, the history of the Border Police, official documentation procedures, firearms training, tracking, communications, engineering training, border protection equipment, topography, first aid, border regime enforcement, and leadership.
The successful completion of the program was congratulated by the First Deputy Head of the Border Police, Colonel Gocha Janjgava, who also awarded the participants with certificates of achivments.
These training programs are regularly conducted for MoIA Border Police employees and aim to enhance the effective performance of their professional duties.
