BORDER POLICE DETAINED 4 PERSONS FOR THE FACT OF ILLEGAL CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

The employees of MIA Border Police, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sectors: “Sarphi” and “Kirnati” of Batumi Division, as a result of operative – investigative measures, detained 4 persons of the foreign countries (A.I. Born in 1988; I.T. Born in 1999; T.I. Born in 2003 and M.J. Born in 1999) for the fact of illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

The crime envisages the imprisonment up to 5 years.

The investigation revealed, that the accused persons: A.I. and I.T. avoiding the check point, from the Republic of Türkiye to the direction to Georgia, hiding in the truck implemented illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia. The accused persons: T.I. and M.J. avoiding the check point, from the Republic of Türkiye implemented illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia and entered Georgia.

The investigation is ongoing under the article 344, Part I, which implies illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

OFFICERS OF THE LAND BORDER PROTECTION DEPARTMENT OF THE GEORGIAN BORDER POLICE TOOK THE CADET OATH IN GREECE

he officers of the Land Border Protection Department of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia participated in the official ceremony of taking the oath of Cadets at the Greek Military Officers' School. The event was attended by high-ranking officials of the Armed Forces of Greece.
