OFFICERS OF THE LAND BORDER PROTECTION DEPARTMENT OF THE GEORGIAN BORDER POLICE TOOK THE CADET OATH IN GREECE

The officers of the Land Border Protection Department of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia participated in the official ceremony of taking the oath of Cadets at the Greek Military Officers' School. The event was attended by high-ranking officials of the Armed Forces of Greece.

Vano Chagoshvili and Nikoloz Arjevanishvili took the oath along with other Cadets.

144 first-year students took the oath, including 102 students from Greece, 40 from Cyprus, and 2 from Georgia.

In the framework of the bilateral cooperation between the General Staff of the Hellenic Republic and the Border Police of Georgia, the employees of the Land Border Protection Department of the Georgian Border Police, are attending the Greek Military Officers' School in Trikala to improve their qualification.

BORDER POLICE DETAINED 2 PERSONS FOR ILLEGAL CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

The employees of MIA Border Police, on the area of responsibility of “Akhaltsikhe” Division, as a result of operative – investigative measures, detained 2 persons (H.C. Born in 1983 and M.Q. Born in 1969) for the fact of illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
