MEDICAL TRAINING WAS CONDUCTED FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF THE BORDER POLICE

Medical Training was conducted for the employees of the Coast Guard Department and Land Border Protection Department of MIA Border Police in the University of Batumi, Coast Guard Batumi base and adjacent maritime space.

“Emergency Medical Aid of Pre Hospital Traumas” educational course, for the representatives of the law – enforced agencies, was organized by the Force Protection Detachment of the US Embassy in Georgia, Special Operations Forces of the Ministry of Defence of Georgia and the National Guard.

The training included theoretical and practical exercises of medical aid at sea and first aid of the patients with the traumas.

The aim of the training was to enhance medical preparedness, improve the skills of the personnel and raise interoperability between the agencies.
