EXERCISE WAS CONDUCTED FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF COAST GUARD DEPARTMENT

Two week Exercise was conducted for the employees of the Coast Guard Department of MIA Border Police in Poti, at the Georgian Coast Guard base.

The Exercise was organized and implemented by the Instructors of Special Operation Division “ALPHA” Group of U.S. Special Operations Command Europe (SOCEUR).

The Exercise included such components: as safety of boarding team members during the close-quarters battle (CQB), the tactics of combat on a ship in closed compartments, as well as in hallways, determining the points of attack on a low-breaking vessel, skills for providing first aid and medical assistance to injured persons.

Similar Exercises are conducted systematically for the employees of MIA Border Police. The aim of these trainings is to increase qualification, enhance appropriate knowledge and skills in order to improve performance and efficiency of the employees.
