Georgian Coast Guard hosted NATO Allied Maritime Command Staff Members and Mobile Training Team

The representatives of NATO Allied Maritime Command staff and Mobile Training Team (MTT) visited the Coast Guard Department of MIA Border Police. The Director of Georgian Coast Guard, Captain Ramaz Papidze hosted the NATO Delegation.
In the framework of the visit, the Guests visited Joint Maritime Operation Centre (JMOC).
During the meeting the members of the delegation received the detailed information about missions, tasks and current activities of the Georgian Coast Guard and JMOC.
The Mobile Training Team implemented the Exercise for the representatives of the Coast Guard Department of the Border Police of Georgia. The main aim of the Exercise is sharing information about the NATO led maritime Security Operations, aspects of Maritime Situational Awareness and introduction of the activities in the frame of Operation “Sea Guardian” (OSC) .
At the end of the Exercise the participants received certificates of course completion.
