THE EMPLOYEES OF BORDER POLICE COMPLETED SPECIAL PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM

22 employees of the Land Border Protection Department of MIA Border Police completed the “Special Professional Educational Program for Basic Training of the Border Guards of the Land Border Protection Department” of the Border Police Training Center. The training course was held at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The training lasted 5 weeks and included topics such as: security and risk analysis, fire training, first aid, topography, as well as operational-investigative and other important components related to the legal and State Border Protection.

The First Deputy Head of the Border Police, Colonel Giorgi Gureshidze, congratulated the Border Guards on the completion of the program: “By participating in this program, you have taken an important step in your professional life! You choose the profession of a Border Guard, which is very proud and commendable. The Border Police performs a difficult mission: protecting the State Border of Georgia, the Border Line, the Border Zone and the Maritime Space of Georgia, ensuring the security of the country and the population, based on the legislation of Georgia. Therefore, it is very important for the agency to strengthen it with educated, diligent and reliable Border Guards. I am confident, that with the knowledge and practical skills acquired at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and your further dedicated work, you will bring positive results to the Border Police."

The First Deputy Head of the Border Police presented the graduates with the relevant certificates.

Similar trainings are systematically conducted for employees of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and are aimed effectively performing their professional activities.
