The employees of MIA Border Police, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sectors: “Kirnati” and “Sarphi” of Batumi Division, as a result of operative – investigative measures, detained 3 persons of foreign countries (M.M. Born in 2001; A.Sh. Born in 1995 and A.T. Born in 1986) for the fact of illegal crossing and attempt of illegal crossing of the State Border.
The crime envisages the imprisonment up to 5 years.
The investigation revealed, that accused person (M.M.) avoiding the check point, from Georgia to the Republic of Türkiye, tried illegal crossing of the State Border. The accused person (A.Sh.) implemented illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia. The accused person (A.T.) hiding in the truck, implemented illegal crossing of the State Border entered Georgia.
The investigation is ongoing under the article 19 – 344, Part I and Article 344, Part I, which implies the attempt of illegal crossing and illegal crossing of the State Border.
