BORDER POLICE DETAINED 2 PERSONS FOR THE FACT OF ILLEGAL CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

The employees of MIA Border Police, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sectors: “Vale” and “Charali” of Akhaltksikhe Division, as a result of operative – investigative measures, detained, citizen of foreign country (R.M. Born in 2004) and citizen of Georgia G.B. (Born in 1986) for the fact of illegal crossing of the State Border.

The crime envisages the imprisonment up to 5 years.

The investigation revealed, that the accused persons, avoiding the check point, from the Republic of Türkiye to the direction to Georgia implemented illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

The investigation is ongoing, under the article 344, Part I, which implies illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
