COAST GUARD DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEE PARTICIPATES IN “ANTI – SMUGGLING LAW ENFORCEMENT INTELLIGENCE TRAINING” IN TURKIYE

Head of the Law Enforcement and Maritime Security Service Sub – Division of the Coast Guard Department of MiA Border Police, Besik Gerlian, participated in the “Law Enforcement Intelligence Training on Combating Smuggling” planned by the Turkish Coast Guard Educational Training Centre.

The training course consisted of a theoretical part, which included planning actions to be taken on illegal vessels and methods of obtaining intelligence information on vessels carrying contraband cargo.

The training was organized by the Coast Guard Command of the Republic of Türkiye. After completing the course, the employee of the Coast Guard Department of the Georgian Border Police was awarded the relevant certificate.

The "Professional Educational Program for Retraining of the leadership of the Border Sectors of the Land Border Protection Department" of MIA Border Police Training Center has been completed.
