BORDER POLICE DETAINED 2 CITIZENS OF THE FOREIGN COUNTRIES FOR THE FACT OF ILLEGAL GROUP CROSSING OF THE BORDER

The employees of MIA Border police, as a result of operative – investigative measures, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sector “Kartsakhi” of Akhaltsikhe Division detained 2 citizens of the foreign countries (E.I. Born in 1986 and B.C. Born in 1994) for the fact of illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

The crime envisages the imprisonment up to 5 years.

The investigation revealed, that accused persons avoiding the check point, from the Republic of Turkey to the direction to Georgia implemented illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

The investigation is ongoing under the article 344, Part II, Subparagraph “A”, which implies illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

BORDER POLICE REVEALED THE FACT OF THE VIOLATION OF THE RULES OF THE NAVIGATION – THE VESSEL UNDER THE FLAG OF FOREIGN COUNTRY WAS CHARGED

The Employees of the Coast Guard Department of MIA Border Police, in the Georgian Territorial Waters, detained the cargo “HASKAL”, under the flag of Mongolia, for the violation of the rules of the Navigation.
