BORDER POLICE DETAINED 1 PERSON FOR THE FACT OF ILLEGAL CROSSING OF THE BORDER

The Employees of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative – investigative measures, with the service dogs, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sector “Sarphi” of Batumi Division, detained the citizen of foreign country (E.M. Born in 1996) for the fact of illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

The crime envisages penalty or the imprisonment from 3 years up to 5 years.

The investigation revealed, that accused person avoiding the check point, from the Republic of Turkey implemented illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

The investigation is ongoing under the article 344, Part I, of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

OFFICERS OF THE LAND BORDER PROTECTION DEPARTMENT OF THE GEORGIAN BORDER POLICE TOOK THE CADET OATH IN GREECE

he officers of the Land Border Protection Department of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia participated in the official ceremony of taking the oath of Cadets at the Greek Military Officers' School. The event was attended by high-ranking officials of the Armed Forces of Greece.
