MIA BORDER POLICE DETAINED 2 PERSONS OF FOREIGN COUNTRIES FOR ILLEGAL CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

Border Policemen of MIA Border Police carried out operative – investigative measures, on the protected area of the Border Sector “Tsodniskari” of Lagodekhi Division of Georgian Border Police and detained 2 citizens of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan (M.Kh. Born in 1988 and M.U. Born in 2003) for the fact of illegal group crossing of Georgian State Border.

The crime envisages imprisonment from 4 years up to 5 years.

The investigation revealed, that accused persons avoided check point and illegally implemented group crossing of Georgian State Border from the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The investigation is ongoing under the article 344, Part II Subparagraph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which means illegal group crossing of the State Border.
