MIA BORDER POLICE DETAINED 3 PERSONS OF FOREIGN COUNTRIES FOR ILLEGAL GROUP CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

Border Policemen of MIA Border Police carried out operative – investigative measures, on the protected area of the Border Sector “Sarphi” of Batumi Division of Georgian Border Police and detained 3 citizens of the Kingdom of Morocco (I.S. Born in 1987; A.M. Born in 1997 and Kh.A. Born in 1982) for the fact of illegal group crossing of Georgian State Border.

The crime envisages imprisonment from 4 year up to 5 years.

The investigation revealed, that accused persons avoided check point and illegally implemented group crossing of Georgian State Border from the Republic of Turkey.

The investigation is ongoing under the article 344, Part II Subparagraph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which means illegal group crossing of Georgian State Border.
