MIA BORDER POLICE DETAINED 2 PERSONS OF FOREIGN COUNTRIES FOR ILLEGAL GROUP CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

Border Policemen of MIA Border Police carried out operative – investigation measures, on the protected area of Border Sector “Sarphi” of the Batumi Division of Georgian Border Police and detained 2 Citizens of the State of Palestin (A.E. born in 1992 and S. H. born in 1999) for the illegal group crossing of the State Border.

The crime envisages imprisonment from 4 year up to 5 year.

The investigation revealed, that accused persons avoided Check points and implemented illegal group crossing of Georgian State Border from the Republic of Turkey.
The investigation is ongoing under the article 344, Part II, Subparagraph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
