Distance learning system is installed in the MIA Border Police, with the aims to conduct online training and video – conferences.

Online learning system supports raising of professional qualification of the employess, efficient communication and saving of resources.

Online learning system is based on using informational and communicational technology in the educational sphere. In the framework of distance learning, textual, video and audio resources are used in order to achieve high degree of interaction.

The online learning system includes the textual, video and audio information of manual guidelines of instructor and listener; learning course of American English; learning course of Liaison Officers of Border Police; instruction of issuing fines on the portal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.

60 computers for the distance learning system, have been donated by International Organizations for Migration under EU financed “ SAFE” program were allocated between the divisions of Land Forces Protection Department, Border Sectors and structural units of MIA Border Police
