MIA Border Police Installed Obstacle Fence

MIA Border Police, with its own resources, installed obstacle fence and the alarm system (Electric Fence) on the segment of state border.

The fence represents the obstacle for border violators during the illegal crossing of state border. In addition to that, the fence, provides the advance information to the border sectors in which area the illegal crossing or an attempt of illegal crossing was detected.

Electronic alarm systems and obstacle fence were installed on the areas of responsibility of Batumi, Akhaltsikhe and Red Bridge Divisions of Georgian Border Police.

Improvement of electronic technical means of land border protection increases the efficiency of state border security and control.

THE TRAINING “THE STANDARDS ON COMMUNICATION AND PROTECTION OF THE RIGHTS OF THE PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES” IS BEING CONDUCTED FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF BORDER POLICE

The training “Standards on Communication and Protection of the Rights of the Persons with Disabilities” was conducted for the employees of the “Red Bridge” Division of the Land Border Protection Department of MIA Border Police. The training was organized under the framework of Action Plan 2023 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, on the Protection of the Rights of the Persons with Disabilities.
