Head of Border Police Held a Farewell Meeting with the Head of NATO Liaison Office in Georgia

The Head of MIA Border Police, Major General Nikoloz Sharadze, held a farewell meeting with the Head of NATO Liaison Office in Georgia, Rosaria Puglisi.

Nikoloz Sharadze thanked Rosaria Puglisi for her fruitful work in Georgia and her contribution to the deepening of NATO-Georgia cooperation.

The Deputy Head of NATO Liaison Office, Pirit Pikker, and the Military Liaison Officer, Rusen Abidinoglu, also attended the farewell meeting.  

The MIA Border Police successfully continues fulfilling its obligations under the Substantial NATO-Georgia Package (SNGP). NATO naval units regularly visit Georgian ports. During the port visits, joint exercises are held with the Georgian Coast Guard to increase interoperability.
