The employees of the MIA Border Police underwent training on Open Source Intelligence.
The training aimed to enhance intelligence capabilities as well as increase awareness to collect, evaluate, collate and analyze strategic information and effectively conduct intelligence related work. International experts shared their experience in the field of intelligence introducing intelligence cycle, social media intelligence and overviewing highlights and recent trends of intelligence work.
The training course was organized by the MIA Border Police and the NATO-Georgia Professional Development Program (PDP) with the support of the Academy of the Ministry of Finance. In partnership with the Academy of the MOF the training took place on two locations of the Academy in Batumi and Tbilisi, while the experts engaged via online.
