The Ambassador of Japan to Georgia Visited The Poti Base of the GCG

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Georgia Akira Imamura visited the Poti base of the MIA Border Police Coast Guard Department. The Director of the Coast Guard Department, CAPT Ramaz Papidze hosted the guests.

The Deputy Directors, CAPT Giorgi Nakopia and CAPT Zaza Erkvania attended the meeting.

The Head of the Coast Guard briefed the Ambassador on the capabilities and objectives of the Unit. The parties paid particular attention to the prospects of enhancing cooperation.

Born in 1998 and N.TS. Born in 1993) for the illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
