To improve the land border protection capabilities, the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has been delivered the trucks and fuel tankers with the financial support of the U.S. Embassy's Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA).
The transport means worth more than 2.74 million GEL will significantly improve logistics processes at the border – it will facilitate the rotation of border guards and the supply of products and necessary inventory to the border sectors.
The U.S. Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) actively continues to support the Border Police in strengthening its capabilities, in particular, in improving the infrastructure and equipping the state border with modern technical means.
