BORDER POLICE DETAINED 4 PERSONS FOR THE FACT OF ATTEMPT OF ILLEGAL CROSSING AND ILLEGAL CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

The employees of MIA Border Police, on the area of the responsibility of the Border Sectors: “Sarphi” and “Kirnati” of Batumi Division, as a result of operative – investigative measures, detained 4 persons of the foreign countries (B.Q. Born in 1976; E.Q. Born in 1995; J.A. Born in 1997 and T.T. Born in 1996) for the fact of the attempt of illegal crossing and illegal crossing of the State Border.

The crime envisages the imprisonment up to 5 years.

The investigation revealed, that the accused persons (B.Q. and J.A.) avoiding the check point, tried illegal crossing from Georgia to the direction to the Republic of Türkiye. The accused persons (E.Q. and T.T.) hiding in the truck, implemented illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia and entered Georgia.

The investigation is ongoing under the article 344, Part I and 19 – 344 article, Part I, which implies the attempt of illegal crossing and illegal crossing of the State Border.

The employees of MIA Border Police, on the area of the responsibility of the Border Sector “Matsimi” of Lagodekhi Division, as a result of operative – investigative measures, detained 4 persons of the foreign countries (A.M. Born in 2005; S.A. Born in 2003; M.A. Born in 2003 and M.H. Born in 2002) for the fact of illegal, group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
