The employees of MIA Border Police, on the area of the responsibility of the Border Sector “Sarphi” of Batumi Division, as a result of operative – investigative measures, detained 2 citizens of the foreign countries (O.Q. Born in 1994 and C.O. Born in 2000) for the fact of illegal, group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
The crime envisages the imprisonment up to 5 years.
The investigation revealed, that the accused persons, avoiding the check point, from the Republic of Türkiye to the direction to Georgia, implemented illegal, group, crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
The investigation is ongoing under the article 344, Part II, Subparagraph “A”, which implies illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
