The "Professional Educational Program for Retraining of the leadership of the Border Sectors of the Land Border Protection Department" of MIA Border Police Training Center has been completed.
Within the framework of the two-month course, which was held at the Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Heads and Deputy Heads of the Border Sectors studied security and risk analysis, as well as operational-investigative, legal, State Border protection and other important issues.
The First Deputy Head of the Border Police, Giorgi Gureshidze, and the Rector of the Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Lela Chikovani, congratulated the thirteen graduates of the training program on the completion of the course.
"Once again, I congratulate you on the completion of the professional program. I am confident, that from today on, together with your Border Guards, you will protect the State Border of Georgia with even greater determination. During the process of managing the sectors, you will be focused on every detail, and your actions will be conscientious and focused on the successful fulfillment of the tasks of the Border Police," noted Giorgi Gureshidze.
The graduates were awarded certificates by Giorgi Gureshidze, First Deputy Head of the Border Police.
The event was also attended by Givi Gordadze, Deputy Head of the Border Police, and the representatives of the Land Border Protection Department of the Border Police.
