BORDER POLICE DETANED 2 PERSONS FOR THE FACT OF ILLEGAL CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

The employees of MIA Border Police, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sectors: “Kirnati” and “Sarphi” of Batumi Division, as a result of operative – investigative measures, detained 2 persons of the foreign countries: (Q.H. Born in 1991 and P.A. Born in 1997) for the fact of illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

The crimes envisages the imprisonment up to 5 years.

The investigation revealed, that accused person (Q.H) avoiding the check point from the Republic of Türkiye to the direction to Georgia implemented illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia. Also, the accused person (P.A) hiding in the truck, implemented illegal crossing of the State Border and entered Georgia.

The investigation is ongoing, under the article 344, Part I, which implies illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

SPECIAL PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM FOR THE LEARERSHIP OF BORDER SECTORS HAS BEEN COMPLETED

The "Professional Educational Program for Retraining of the leadership of the Border Sectors of the Land Border Protection Department" of MIA Border Police Training Center has been completed.
