Employees of the Coast Guard Department of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took part in the Final Planning Conference of the multinational maritime exercise "Phoenix Express 2025", organized by the United States Naval Forces Europe and Africa Command.

The exercise will be held in the Mediterranean Sea, in the Republic of Tunisia, in November of this year.

The goal of the "Phoenix Express 2025" maritime exercise is to enhance interoperability between the U.S., African partners, allies, and international organizations' maritime and maritime law enforcement forces.

The exercise will focus on maritime interdiction and boarding operations, information sharing, and coordinated patrols to ensure regional maritime security.
