The employees of the Coast Guard Department of MIA Border Police participated in the Multinational Maritime Exercise – CUTLASS EXPRESS 2025, organized by the United States Naval Forces Europe and Africa.
The Part of exercise “Cutlass Express” which lasted for 10 days, took place in the city Tanga of the United Republic of Tanzania. The representatives of the Naval Forces and Coast Guards of the world were participated in the exercise.
The exercise “Cutlass Express” included elements of maritime security trainings such as: maritime interdiction operations, small boat operations, also elements of coordination of national maritime operations centers (MOCs) across partner nations sought to improve regional coordination.
15 Employees, including 10 instructors of the Coast Guard Department of the Border Police of Georgia, were participated in the Multinational Exercise. After the completion of the exercise, the participants were awarded with the certificates.
