The employees of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative – investigative measures, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sector “Sarphi” of Batumi Division, detained 2 persons of foreign countries (R.C. Born in 1992 and M.I Born in 1998) for the fact of the illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
The crime envisages imprisonment up to 5 years.
The investigation revealed, that accused persons avoiding the check point, from the Republic of Turkey to the direction to Georgia, hiding in the various trucks, implemented illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
The investigation is ongoing under the article 344, Part I of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
