The Employees of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative-investigative measures, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sector “Charali” of Akhatsikhe Division, detained 5 citizens of foreign countries: (M.A. Born in 1978; A.O. Born in 1972; V.B. Born in 1990; U.P. Born in 1988 and J.O. Born in 1992) for the facts of illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia and for the support of illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

The investigation revealed that, M.A. and A.O. avoiding the check point, from the Republic of Turkey to the direction to Georgia, implemented illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia and also, J.O. implemented illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia with the support of accused persons: V.B and U.P.

The crime envisages imprisonment up to 5 years.

The investigation about the facts on the illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia and on the support of illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia, is ongoing under the article 344, Part II, Subparagraph ”A” and 25-344 Article, Part I of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
