The Employees of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative – investigative measures, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sectors: “Chirukhi”, “Gorgadzeti” and “Sarphi|” of Batumi Division, detained 5 citizens of foreign countries (O.O. Born in 1989; I.S. Born in 1991; H.DZ. Born in 1986; I.CH. Born in 1982 and K.B. Born in 1988) for the fact of illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
The crime envisages imprisonment from 4 years up to 5 years.
The investigation revealed, that accused persons avoiding the check point, from the Republic of Turkey implemented illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
The investigation about the facts on the illegal crossing and illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia, is ongoing under the article 344, Part I and the article 344, Part II, Subparagraph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
